Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.3
Version: Final
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3
Status: NEW
Severity: Major

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0;
Trident/4.0; GTB6.5; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR
3.0.30729; MS-RTC LM 8; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)

On the Kernel of the Day today (kernel-xen-2.6.35.1-1.1.x86_64.rpm) xend does
not start because xenstored fails with "FATAL: Failed to open evtchn device:
Invalid Argument"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install kernel-xen, reboot
2.service xend start
3.when it fails, try xenstored directly
Actual Results:
xenstored reports: "FATAL: Failed to open evtchn device: Invalid Argument"

Expected Results:
virsh list, xm list

Actually I need 2.6.35.6 to resolve the sendfile() bug that prevents Eucalyptus
from running on OpenSuSE 11.3 -- when will that find its way to KOTD?
