Autoyast needs to be enhanced to allow specification of the type of disk label to use. Valid choices are likely a subset of those allowed by parted's mklabel command. For example: <?xml version="1.0"?> .. <partitioning config:type="list"> <drive> <device>/dev/sda</device> <initialize config:type="boolean">true</initialize> <labeltype> config:type="string">gpt</initialize> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N/A Actual Results: Partition table defaults to msdos if disk is not labeled. There is no way, aside from a begin script, to force a gpt label to be used on a non-gpt disk. Expected Results: gpt label type could be specified via autoyast.
