This bug is a duplicate of #619120 for SLES11 SP1 and #618678 for 11.3. It's
less obvious in the latter bug until around comment #18 or so. At any rate,
the bug has been fixed and IIUC a kernel update fixing the issue will be
released soon (as in this or perhaps next week).
In the meantime, you can use the KOTD
SLES11 SP1: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/SLE11-SP1/
11.3: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/openSUSE-11.3/
It seems you don't have access to SLES products - why is that? Since this
appears to be the case, I'll change product to 11.3 and mark this a duplicate
of 11.3 bug #618678.
