To confirm whether the amp and EAPD are really off, please give alsa-info.sh
with *all* volumes muted and adjusted to the lowest level. (If doesn't matter
whether you get a sound at playback. It's just for checking the pop noise.)
Then, apply the patch below on alsa-driver/alsa-kernel directory with patch -p2
option. It'll add some debug messages and put long delays at each sequence.
Reload the driver (it'll take time), set power_save=1 to reproduce quickly, and
trigger power-saving (e.g. change a mixer value or play a single tone).
Now, check the kernel message via dmesg command quickly when pop-noise occurs,
and figure out which state it is now. The driver will show "XXX ..." message.
Check for both opening and closing pop-noises.
