http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=627308 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=627308#c0 Summary: Gnome main menu moves Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mwelinder@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.6.8 When the gnome menu is first displayed, it is shown lower on the screen than it should. After about a second, it jumps to its correct place. Specifically, it looks like the is moved upwards by the height of the panel. It also appears to move when an item is clicked. That is highly irritating as the item chosen will be the item under the cursor *after* the move. This only happens the first time the menu is activated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Reboot. 2. Log in. 3. Click "Computer" Actual Results: Menu appears flushed to the bottom edge of the screen. After a short while, or when clicked, it jumps up and is then flush to the edge of the panel. Expected Results: Menu should appear in its final position right away. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
