I can confirm the bug,
In fact the problem does exist with ubuntu lucid lynx, the moblin ux they
provide does not work with nvidia proprietary driver. I get a blank screen on
ubuntu too...

It appears that nvidia drivers mess up with some clutter-glx code. The issue
also appears on original moblin 2.1, and AFAIK nobody succeeded at running
Meego with a nvidia gfx cards.

There was a workaround here :

for Moblin 2.1, but I never got it working.
