I tried to install 11.3 on my machine with Intel raid ICH10R
When it checks the system, it asks to activate dmraid, but the hangs at 60% and
terminal 3 shows a trace of the kernel crash.

According to one of the reported bugs, this was fixed by a change to the
kernel.

I then booted into the installed 11.2 on the system, and upgraded by changing
the repositories and using "zypper dup".
I then did a system update to get the latest software.

After a reboot, the system crashes waiting for the dm device to appear.
