The last line on the screen is: [<time>] pcmcia_socket pcmcia_socket0: cs: memory probe 0x1000000000-0xfcffffffff: I've tried to turn off pcmcia support with a kernel option, but to no avail Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot through Grub 2. Press Esc to see messages (freezes anyways, but then you don't know why) 3. Wait for freeze Actual Results: Boot seqence freezes Expected Results: Continue booting, of course. There's no card in the pcmcia slot.
