I have a set of spare hard disks which are used for testing new distributions. I have checked the disk and installed OpenSuSE 11.3 on another machine (AMD 2500, 1 x 1 Gig + 1 x 512 Meg DDR 400, MSI Motherboard) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Boot from CD 2. Live KDE 3. Click on Install 4. Follow wizzard 5. Fails during disk prep. Actual Results: Install process crashes Message appears asking that the bug is reported to SuSE. Attempts to write a log message (fails as the disk hasn't yet been formatted) Recreated using both graphical and text based install; both EXT3 and EXT4. I have installed OpenSuSE 11.2 from KDE Live CD immediately after the failure to check that there isn't any hardware problem. I have ran Memtest. Expected Results: As above. I am a very experienced IT engineer and have used SuSE for 11 years. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
