Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. copy kde live-cd to SD-card (via dd) 2. boot and choose e.g. check installation media 3. even when write protection is ON, it tries to modify partition table (create new EXT3 and so on. Resulting error message: "Failed to create partition table" only reboot possible. Actual Results: booting of the live media fails. :-( Expected Results: When "write protect is on" (as it is shown on ctrl-alt-F4 very early) then handle the media like a CD-ROM.
