http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=619144 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=619144#c0 Summary: Kgpg generates keys with algorithm "DSA / Unknown" or "RSA / Unknown" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: msrb@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Kgpg Version 2.3.0 KDE 4.4.3 gpg (GnuPG) 2.0.15 libgcrypt 1.4.4 Steps to reproduce: 1) Keys->Generate key pair 2) Fill in name, email. I tried Key size 1024 and 2048, algorithm "DSA & ElGamal" and "RSA". 3) Fill in passphrase. The created key has length "1024/0" and algorithm "DSA/Unknown". As far as I understand, that key is unusable in certain uses. When i used "gpg --gen-key" and the most default values, it generated a key with "2048/2048" and "RSA/RSA". I've expected similar result with Kgpg. I have observed the same behavior in Gentoo with same versions, just libgcrypt was 1.4.5. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
