OK so this looks like the old ASPM issues that were present a while ago.
openSUSE 11.3 is based on 2.6.34. Quickly searching the e1000e changelog since v2.6.34 I don't see anything related to ASPM.
Basically what happens is that the PCIe link doesn't wake fast enough to get the correct data off the bus due to the ASPM settings. There are fixes in the more recent drivers. We also had fixes in some upstream kernel drivers but some of those kernels where ASPM was being enabled in the kernel broke those changes.
The latest driver on Sourceforge should address this.
Can I get the patches you plan on sending upstream early for our Kernel? Our release for openSUSE 11.3 is two weeks away and it would be nice to have working Intel adapters. :) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
