Lars, could you try to obtain a backtrace, as outlined here:
http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:OOo#How_to_get_backtrace ?
Please, start ooo from a terminal again, and "export SAL_SYNCHRONIZE=1" before,
to disable X11 asynchronicity.
