http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=616970 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=616970#c0 Summary: KDE4 Application Launcher using Classic Menu has lost menu items in "Office" category Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: junkDawgie@yahoo.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 using the simple Application Launcher (start menu-Classic) the Office category has multiple sub-categories. If an installed application exists as a single entry in one of the sub-categories it is normally rolled into the previous menu list, this occurs satisfactorily in all other menu categories except "Office". There, if say, the "Calendar" category has only the single application KOrganizer, then the entry disappears completely (it is listed properly in MenuEdit however). The expected action would be that KOrganizer would be rolled into the previous expanded menu list and the sub-category "Calendar" removed, but KOrganizer does not appear and the "Calendar" entry is removed. Other categories (i.e. Multimedia, Utilities, System, etc.) do not exhibit the same behavior and perform as expected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install 11.3 with KDE 4.4.4 2. if the menu category "Office" does not have a sub-category which has only one application entry, remove or add an application to create that scenario. 3. using the Add Widgets dialog put the simple Application Launcher on the panel and check for the existence of the application/sub-category you modified. Actual Results: the menu entry is not listed, nor is the sub-category in the Office menu. It does exist as an entry in Menu Editor. Expected Results: rolled the sub-category single entry into the previous menu list and eliminate the sub-category. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
