http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=615450 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=615450#c0 Summary: 11.3rc1 Nautilus Install/Remove Software and Package Installer Zypper Bug? Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sorenson2743@amtelecom.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100527 SUSE/3.6.4-2.2 Firefox/3.6.4 Tried both right-click entries to (individually) install iscan-2.10.0-1.c2.i386.rpm, iscan-plugin-gt-f520-1.0.0-1.c2.i386.rpm, and libgoom2-0-2.fc13.i686.rpm that I had downloaded. Yes, I know, bear with me. In each case the install routine almost immediately comes up with "An internal system error has occurred", detail dropdown being "[PK_TMP_DIR|dir:///var/tmp/TmpDir.54xvee] Repository already exists." TmpDir name changes but, in all cases, I am unable to find it (to delete it). Subsequent attempts to install will come up with same TmpDir name for the item as before. Result = never install. Behaviour has changed somewhat since 11.3M7 ... in that release I was able to install the first two .rpms (never tried third), although got same type of error message. Excuse if this has been previously reported, but I couldn't find it browsing or searching. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.just try to right-click install an .rpm in Nautulis 2. 3. Actual Results: Never installs the .rpm Expected Results: Install the .rpm Asrock A795GM-LE/128M, ATI 4770, 2 gigs ram, AMD 550be, stock install of 11.3rc1 Gnome x86 Live CD using "install" at boot screen, rather than at desktop. Installed into clean partition on multiboot system. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
