Sorry but I am very confused about this report. I still do not know what you
mean by "factory" upgrade in your initial description.
Also you did not answer my question from comment 6.

The only thing I am quite sure is that your system is somehow messed up. The Qt
version are not the ones one is supposed to have installed with KDE 4.3 as far
as I can tell.

So please do the following please attach the output of 'zypper lr -d' and
answer the following questions:

1.) Which version of openSUSE are you using?
2.) Which version of KDE do you want to use?
