I was a bit at loss on how to address this, but now it turns out that
POSIX.2004 relaxed the wording compared to POSIX.2001, specifying that the
function _may_ fail instead of _shall_ fail. Thus, I interpret it the way that
the behavior with invalid timerid is generally undefined and the functions may
crash.
