Works for me... Just tried that on clean 11.2. Your grep would suggest that you
have it commented out instead of using it actually, but your error sugests that
it is being used... In which section do you have it? I think it is even
uncommented by default... What is the name of the datadir you are trying to
specify? Can you share output of 'my_print_defaults mysqld'?
