I think this could be done the following way: In a first shot we specify the following: 1) there is a partition already available for the root system which can be selected and used for the installation process. This means kiwi does not create any partition 2) there is a swap space somewhere already existing which can be re-used This means kiwi also doesn't create a swap partition 3) We allow the installation into one partition only. If several partitions are required LVM has to be used 4) Compression of the install raw disk is not allowed because then it can't be accessed in parts when the installation happens 5) the installed system boots up and we configure the bootloader to reboot that system without taking care of possibly other systems installed.
