Can you provide the full output of lshal (attached to the bug) with a CD in the
device?

I have followed this issue, and left a comment good time ago. In my case, I do
had a CD inside the device when I got this failure under KDE 4 shipped with
openSuSE 12 Final+Updates x86_64.
Can you provide the full output of lshal (attached to the bug) with a CD in the
device?
