You do not get any logs?
I doubt that, especially if it's acpi related.
Are you able to attach a serial console?
earlyprintk=vga should print things to screen (to test).
earlyprintk=ttyS0,57600 to serial (first serial device!) with a baudrate of
57600.

We really need a log, so please make sure a serial console is attached (you
might want to check it working, with a booting kernel first).

Also attach acpidump (doesn't matter with which distribution, boot option).
