people reported the problem that genisoimage does not include
the image file if it is a symbolic link to another file. Even
though --follow-links is set genisoimage just said:

Warning: -follow-links does not always work correctly

and proceed without any error.

I'd like to know from the people who had that problem
if they can verify whether their target directory this is
the one you have set with -d | --destdir in kiwi is at
the same filesystem than /tmp

Could you help me with this question ?


I had this problem and in my case everything is on the same filesystem.
Straightforward, one local partition with ext4. I used as target /tmp/kiwi/...
