This is for 11.3 milestone3 (the problem did not exisit in milestone2). 

Upon boot, the taskbar/panel is present, as is the coloured screen. However the
desktop icons do not show. If one clicks on PCMan File Manager on the
panel/taskbar, the icons on the desktop immediately appear (hence its a VERY
EASY work around). 

Note the "openbox" from the X11:lxde repo has been installed:

lee@stonehenge01:~> rpm -q openbox
openbox-3.4.11-14.1.i586


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. reboot, no icons on desktop

Expected Results:  
There should a small number of icons on the desktop upon booting.
