Summary: Installed postscript fonts not found by OpenOffice 3.2
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE.org
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.8)
Gecko/20100204 SUSE/3.5.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.5.8

OpenOffice 3.2.0.5 appears not to find installed postscript fonts if the font
files consist only of .pfb & .pfm files. Fonts with .pfb & .afm or .pfb, .afm &
pfm files seem to be displayed. Neither the individual applications see the
fonts nor does spadmin recognise the fonts on the distribution CD.

The fonts are installed with the KDE font manager and load into
/usr/local/share/fonts/... The fonts are recognised by KDE and GIMP

These fonts from Tektronix have been in use for 10 years and work with older
versions of OpenOffice under both Linux and Windows

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Try to browse a directory containing PS fonts (.pfb & pfm only) with spadmin
2.Install fonts (.pfb & .pfm only) as system fonts via KDB font manager
3.Start writer and display available fonts (fonts will not be listed)
Actual Results:
None of the PS fonts expected to be displayed are displayed

Expected Results:
The PS fonts should be displayed and be usable
