[Bug 578222] Segmentation Fault during shutdown with kernel 2.6.31.12

The problem has been identified and fixed in our repository. The next update
will contain the fix.
I appreciate that people are submitting reports, but *please* read the existing
comments before adding a comment. We don't need to add to the chorus of "me
too" reports.
For those who are itching to test the latest and greatest, the URL contained in
comment #19 always contains a close (within 24h) copy of the current git repo.
