[Bug 580792] no sound in laptop's speakers only in headphones

You will laugh but let me tell you how it has been fixed for the moment..by
accident..
I put computer to Suspend2disk and when I resume it I forgot to plug in the A/C
cable and was running on batteries and I have sound in speakers too.
If I restart it, the sound doesn't work anymore through speakers but if I put
suspend2disk again and start only to batteries until it enters X speakers are
ok.
Strange.
After that I can plug in the A/C and still have sound.
Any idea why it does this?
