http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=577801 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=577801#c0 Summary: Automatic suspend to DISK/RAM should abort on key press or moving the mouse Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: 32bit OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: madworm_de.novell@spitzenpfeil.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091222 SUSE/3.5.7-1.1.1 Firefox/3.5.7 KDE4 can be configured to automatically suspend to DISK/RAM after a timeout has expired. It is also possible to set a warning timeout (the system will beep before it shuts down). The standard warning timeout is 10s. Currently the only way to abort a shutdown is to do a few clicks on the system tray. This is an unnecessary complication. Any user input should abort the procedure, as it is the most intuitive thing.
