After restarting the computer, using "3stack" finally capturing from the front
mic works also in Skype. Thus, there seem to be two problems for the given
computer/board/chipset:

1. The driver option model has to be changed to "3stack".
2. The "Input Source" chooser isn't visible in kmix, anyway, and there is
chosen the default "Mic" (which is probably the rear jack for the mic). This
setting can be only changed in alsamixer. Let me know if I should report it
separately as a kmix-specific problem.

Isn't it possible to add a quirk for that board to offer the correct default
sound settings?
