When I NX into my machine, the console is constantly littered with the
following message:
Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":1004.0"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. NX into machine
2. Start some graphical program from the command line (e.g. kwrite, eclipse)
Actual Results:
Works, but annoying message is printed out that doesn't mean anything to the
average user
