http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=567327 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=567327#c0 Summary: OOo gives wrong messages when failing to save file on nfs shares. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: OpenOffice.org AssignedTo: bnc-team-ooo@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: carlos.e.r@opensuse.org QAContact: cwei@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=334308) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=334308) First error message box I attempt to save a new file from writer onto a nfs shared folder: first one box (photo attached) says that the "file does not exist". This is absurd, I'm saving, not loading. The next box says "General error / General input/output error" So I save to a local folder, and attempt to move that file to the shared file in an xterm. Now I get the message that it is a "Read-only file system". Which turns out to be true. Why couldn't OOo just say that, the truth, and not an absurd message? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
