hello

i built a system with opensuse 11.2. had problems to bring domU's up, but found
help here - thanks that for!

now, if i stress the domU with just a "tar -xcvf file.tar (file.tar has 50G)
the system hangs - it's restartable and i can reproduce the error...

to be shure thats not a hw-problem, i did the same in domain0, work fine, no
problem.

i used files as space for the disks in domU. then i switched to lvm2-lv's
problem persits.

i have seen bugs 553690, 559047 and tried mem=4G and mem=3G (as the system only
has 3gb ram), both both didn't help.

so my question:
is there a way to make the xen-system stable without to patch the xen kernel?
i'm not quit familar with building a patched xen-kernel (the xen.gz).
do i have to wait for a new xen-kernel?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. build opensuse 11.2 system
2. install xen-hypervisor, reboot with xen
3. install domU (goes fine with my system)
4. bring domU under stress with heavy io (expand a tar or so).
Actual Results:
system crashes, neither domain-0 or domu brigs a response (does nor respond to
ping)

Expected Results:
stable sytem
