Onboard audio doesn't work on Asus K8U-X. Everybody with this motherboard seems
to have this problem. I Googled a bit (well, a lot to be honest): Some people
got the sound out of the microphone jack (I didn't). Most people seemed to make
their sounds work by passing the buggy_semaphore 1 (and in some cases also the
buggy_irq 1) option(s) to the driver module. Didn't work for me. Sounds work
just fine on Windows. I also tried Kubuntu without any luck. I also found out
that the audio worked with earlier versions of various distributions. Probably
something changed in ALSA.
