The segfault is caused by function updatePage() not checking sanity of some values read from the log. This bug is fixed in jfsutils 1.1.13. Attached is a fix taken from jfsutils 1.1.14 which can be used for OpenSuSE 11.1 and 11.2 (I didn't check older versions). For 11.3, update to jfsutils 1.1.14 would be preferrable (as suggested by #555093).
