If you ope KDE systemsettings, chose default-components - Web Browser and then
select the first possibility (not a certain browser but „open adresses starting
with http or https with a program based on the adresses contents“), than if you
click on links in an email in kmail, it opens the link in firefox, but not from
the right adress but like
file:///var/tmp/kdecache-user/krun/6450.0.
which is useless at all.

(using kmail in gnome in suse)
