--- Comment #9 from Jozef Uhliarik 2009-12-03 13:02:58 UTC ---
The original system was 11.0 after that it was updated to 11.1 and finally to
11.2
Yes there missing completed YaST logs but it seems that both update was done
via "zypper dup"
It means if yast2-bootloader from 11.1 was never started
/etc/sysconfig/bootloader is "empty". (options like DEFAULT_VGA, DEFAULT_APPEND
etc. was added in 11.1)
Update to last installed kernel delete old version of kernel and add new
(kernel-desktop) but there missing options like append vga etc. It seems that
/etc/sysconfig/bootloader doesn't include options for default kernel... in this
time.
It is my point of view. Yes there is chance that I am wrong.
Josef I am sure that the best is of you check perl-BL-standalone-log from
comment#8 but it seems that problem is in empty /etc/sysconfig/bootloader but I
am not able to update it if y2-bootloader was never started before. :(
Return me bug back if you decide that it is my problem.
