Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install gecko-mediaplayer and gnome-mplayer from the package manager 2. Remove totem-browser-plugin from the package manager 3. Run Firefox from the terminal 4. Go to Tools > Add-ons (or do Step 5) 5. Try to view an embedded video file (or do Step 4) Actual Results: Firefox (and even Swiftfox) crashes with the following error message: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/browser-plugins/gecko-mediaplayer.so: undefined symbol: gconf_client_get_default Expected Results: Firefox should not crash and should display the video file with GNOME MPlayer or display the plugin options. This happens on both Firefox 3.5 and Swiftfox 3.5.
