Bad news.
Sure, I think so.
Where did you find this output?
xw is started by SaX2. Not sure if it needs some special option. It's not
mentioned to be called manually. For sure something is wrong with your Xorg
binary or the libraries its linked against. We simply don't know yet why.
And I'm not sure whether we'll ever figure out.
I don't think the issue is related to 2D/3D acceleration.
There is no text-based X configuration tool (any longer).
Yes, I don't believe it's related to your graphics card/driver.

Hi Lubos,
I did move the kephal.desktop, but there was no change.
Bad news.
What about this pixman-thing: Is this the cause of the problem, or just
a consequence:
Sure, I think so.
/usr/bin/Xorg: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/Xorg: undefined symbol:
pixman_transform_init_identity
Where did you find this output?
or (from SaX.log)
/usr/sbin/xw: symbol lookup error: /usr/sbin/xw: undefined symbol:
pixman_transform_init_identity
(when I say: usr/sbin/xw , the answer is ,,4092''. Is this some strange
value?)

I also added the Option: "NoAccel" to xorg.conf in the section "Device"
because
I remembered an earlier problem with this graphic card: It lets you choose
"3D-Acceleration on " in Yast, but can't do it, which caused also a black
screen
some years ago. But I could easily turn the option off and everything was back
to normal. But here: No change again.
I don't think the issue is related to 2D/3D acceleration.
Is there a way to start a text-based configuration tool for the graphic card?
Yast won't show me the card, and sax2 either works alone without showing
anything or tries to start a graphical output which mostly fails.
Sometimes sax started a blue test screen which looked ok, I confirmed it, but
when I said ,,startx' afterwards, it failed again.
There is no text-based X configuration tool (any longer).
Or do you think it's got nothing to do with the graphic card?
Yes, I don't believe it's related to your graphics card/driver.
