It's clear to me now why you only get 1024x768 on the VGA output. You also have a monitor connected to the DVI input. This monitor is sensed but the driver
thats not the case. there is nothing at the other ports of the mainboard(s). like i said right from the beginning on. i only have the normal standard dsub vga15 connected. either directly to the flatpanel or through the kvm switch.
i am not kidding. i can send you a picture of the testlab if neccessary or whatever you need to get convinced :)
Yeah, I believe you :) Would it be possible for you to connect something to the DVI port (only that not to the VGA port) and regenerate a verbose log file? The log file shows: (II) RADEONHD(0): rhdRROutputDetect: Output DVI-D_1 (II) RADEONHD(0): FUNCTION: RHDHPDCheck (II) RADEONHD(0): RHDHPDCheck returned: 1 mask: 1 Which is strange.
maybe its some crazy asus bios setting or such stuff. i dont know how bioses initialize the various ports of todays boards with onboard graphics, or maybe its some ati/gpu firmware (is that the atombios?) or something like that.
It could be that the bit is inverted on your system. I need to verify this and see if I can find this information somewhere in AtomBIOS. I think there is a way but I'm not sure any more how to find out. We could add another flag to the quirks table - but maybe there is a way to get this info from the BIOS. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
