When using mount.cifs the options should be comma separated instead of space
separated. To quote mount.cifs man page:
"Options to mount.cifs are specified as a comma-separated list of
key=value pairs. It is possible to send options other than those listed here,
assuming that the cifs filesystem kernel module (cifs.ko) supports them.
Unrecognized cifs mount options passed to the cifs vfs kernel code will be
logged to the kernel log."
So, in your example above you should use
mount.cifs //comp2.localnet.webwaredev.net/games /mnt/Shares/Games -v -o
username=lhorace,uid=lhorace,gid=pcserver,file_mode=0700,dir_mode=0700,uid=1000
