http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=556323#c0 Summary: unwanted time shift after setting RTC in UTC Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sbrabec@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- My disc contains one FAT partition, which was probably considered as a Windows installation. That is why YaST proposed RTC time set to local time and not to UTC. But I wanted UTC time in RTC (and RTC was already correctly set to UTC before). I clicked to "enable RTC in UTC". After first boot to the installed system, my clock were one hour off. It seems, that YaST updated installed system configuration, but not the live system clock, and then probably saved clock to RTC. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
