It also fails in safe mode. It also fails with acpi=off (not that a notebook without power management is of any use) Expected Results: Working suse 11.2 ;-) Same computer worked OK with SUSE 11.1 and Ubuntu 9.04, and still works OK on Vista. So hardware problems can be excluded.
