User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux; en-US) AppleWebKit/527+ (KHTML,
like Gecko, Safari/419.3) Arora/0.10.1
Due to a too tight timing setting in the current driver the camera fails to get
recognized with:
[ 1302.626300] uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device <unnamed> (046d:08c3)
[ 1303.625176] uvcvideo: UVC non compliance - GET_DEF(PROBE) not supported.
Enabling workaround.
[ 1304.624168] uvcvideo: Failed to query (129) UVC probe control : -110 (exp.
26).
[ 1304.624175] uvcvideo: Failed to initialize the device (-5).
This bug is known upstream and following patch was commited:
http://www.mail-archive.com/linuxtv-commits@linuxtv.org/msg05533.html
If possible it would be nice to have this backported to current OS11.2 kernel.
Thanks for your support.
