Version/10.01

single sub-menu items visible in the KDE menu editor do not show up in the KDE
menu until a "filer" is added, these single sub-menu items should normally show
up 1 menu higher.

I will try to explain this as best as I can, this is from a clean openSuSE 11.2
install.

I will focus on the internet menu group but it also happens with the Multimedia
group.

After default install and adding Thunderbird & Opera I had the following
available in the KDE menu > Internet:

Internet
- Chat
--- Kopete
--- Konversation
--- Coqok
- E-mail
--- Kmail
--- Thunderbird
- Web Browser
--- Firefox
--- Konqueror
--- Opera

however when I open the KDE Menu Editor I noticed that the following list was
listed (only showing those that have a sub item):

Internet
- Chat
--- Kopete
--- Konversation
--- Coqok
- Data Exhange
--- Bluetooth Manager
- E-mail
--- Kmail
--- Thunderbird
- Peer to Peer
--- KTorrent
- RSS Reader
--- Akregator
- Usenet
--- Knode
- Web Browser
--- Firefox
--- Konqueror
--- Opera

All the menu items that where single in a sub menu did not show up at all in
the KDE menu.

Now the funny thing is when I add a "filer" in the Internet group with the menu
editor like this:

Internet
- FILLER (just a new item with name filler, nothing else)
- Chat
--- Kopete
--- Konversation
--- Coqok
- Data Exhange
--- Bluetooth Manager
- E-mail
--- Kmail
--- Thunderbird
- Peer to Peer
--- KTorrent
- RSS Reader
--- Akregator
- Usenet
--- Knode
- Web Browser
--- Firefox
--- Konqueror
--- Opera

and press save my KDE menu then changes to:

Internet
- Chat
--- Kopete
--- Konversation
--- Coqok
- Bluetooth Manager
- E-mail
--- Kmail
--- Thunderbird
- KTorrent
- Akregator
- Usenet
- Knode
- Web Browser
--- Firefox
--- Konqueror
--- Opera

and that is exactly as it should be

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. clean install, added thunderbird & opera
2. internet and multimedia menu will not show single sub-menu items
3. add a filer menu entry in the internet group and they will show up
Actual Results:
see above

Expected Results:
sub-menu single items showed up as they should

Added screenshots:

kde-editor-1.jpeg : shows the menu editor with the internet menu
kde-menu-1.jpeg : shows the internet menu
kde-editor-2.jpeg : shows the menu editor with the internet menu expanded and
filler added
kde-menu-2.jpeg : shows the internet menu after the filler was added
