http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=554027 Summary: glossary.sty missing in texlive-latex Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: plewe@lst.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/4.3; Linux) KHTML/4.3.1 (like Gecko) SUSE On openSUSE 11.1, the glossary style was present in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/glossary/ On openSUSE 11.2, this style is removed and only the newer glossaries style is present, which is no drop-in replacement. While I understand concerns about growing LaTeX disk/DVD space, and appreciate the development of newer and better styles, spending 36kb on backwards compatibility could be worth considering. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install texlive-latex-2008-13.14.1.noarch 2. Check for the existence of glossary.sty Actual Results: There is no glossary.sty Expected Results: There should be a glossary.sty. Enhancement or Normal - it breaks my older .tex files, so it's a bug. It requests an addition to existing, in itself perfectly working software, so it's an enhancement. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
