But 'zypper patch' would install the update (or tell you the package in
question is locked or something).
This might be the result of your repo priority setup. See them with
$ zypper lr -P
Try to set them all to 99
$ zypper mr -p 99 --all
Then try the dup again.
If it does not help, attach the solver testcase (do 'zypper dup
--debug-solver'), we can tell if the result you see is alright and why.
BTW, 'zypper dup' does not care about 'patches'. 'zypper -qn lu -a | wc -l'
might be a better way to check whether dup will get you some updates. 'pchk' is
a check for patches that 'patch' command will install.
