Summary: YAST2 not handling 'Download' errors logically.
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Final
Platform: PC
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: YaST2
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: sanander@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.14)
Gecko/2009090900 SUSE/3.0.14-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.14
If Yast2 gets an error during 'Perform Installation' - 'Installing Packages' it
stops. Manual intervention is then req'd to get to a window that displays the
options 'Retry' 'Abort' & 'Skip' This also has a 30second timer that will
'Retry'.
Would it be more logical for it to 'Retry' several times (say x7) before the
software posted an error which stopped the install. Thus making it an
'Unatended install' provided there were no Hard errors.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. When ever there is a 'Timeout'
2.
3.
