http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=551609 Summary: wrong permissions on /usr/sbin/suexec2? Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Apache AssignedTo: bnc-team-apache@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: krange@lhup.edu QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.14) Gecko/2009090900 SUSE/3.0.14-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.14 It seems that the permissions on /usr/sbin/suexec2 should be 4755 rather than the 0755 the apache2-utils package uses. I have a web application (WebMO) that stopped working after a recent update to apache2, and it seems like chmod 4755 /usr/sbin/suexec2 fixes it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to use suexec2 Actual Results: Error messages. Expected Results: The scripts should execute as the owner of the files. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
