Username / password set in Network Proxy (so they are stored in gconf)? Most gnome applications use libproxy as backend, which might be the 'troublemaker' for you. Authentication settings are not read up to version 0.3.1 (but current svn snapshot got this implemented). But it's just a blind guess, as none of the applications mentioned in your list use libproxy; and as you say, setting http_proxy on console makes it work, which hints it's not libproxy issue anyhow). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
