It seems that using a proxy with authentication is broken in Gnome.

http_proxy is correctly set within the system but all application fail on the
authentication (packagekit, liferea, etc.).

Firefox use its own settings so it works fine.

Out of Gnome, in a TTY, setting manually the http_proxy var also works well.
