So now I have made, according to URL http://en.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick, a Live USB stick for openSUSE 11.2 RC1. That is easy since you can just copy and paste the commands from the URL and the Konsole. The only difference as far as I know is that we stick this time for 100% to the /dev/disk/by-id/.. in stead of /dev/sde or wathever. The recreated Live USB stick for openSUSE 11.2 RC1 is tested on my Medion Akoya Mini Netbook E1210 (MSI-Wind) and started and booted correctly from the the Live USB Stick. The only question I have now is whether you have to use disk reference by-id or that you can also use disk reference by-drive-letter, if you are absolute certain. We looked up the drive letter in our first trial via My System (menu of important system places)/Storage Media/Udisk2.0. The preparation of the Live USB Stick was done in both cases on my desktop and not on the Medion Akoya Mini Netbook E1210. Thanks for the help Regards, Heidi and Frans -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
